Florida Injury Team is an attorney referral service, not a law firm — this page explains who writes the guides on this site, how we keep them accurate, and why you will not see an individual attorney's byline on our articles.

Who writes our content

Every article is researched and written by the Florida Injury Team Legal Content Team, using primary sources such as Florida Statutes, court rules, and official state resources. Because we are a referral platform and not a law firm, we do not attribute articles to a single named attorney — doing so could suggest a direct attorney-client relationship that does not exist at the article-reading stage.

How we verify accuracy

Before publishing, content is checked against our network of independent, licensed Florida personal injury attorneys for legal accuracy. When laws change — such as Florida's comparative negligence statute or filing deadlines — we update the relevant articles and note the revision date at the top of the page.

Why we don't name an individual attorney as author

Florida Injury Team refers cases to independent law firms; we are not the firm that ultimately represents you. Naming a specific attorney as the "author" of general educational content could misleadingly imply they are already your attorney, or allow readers to bypass the referral process entirely and contact that individual directly — which would conflict with how our service actually works. Organizational authorship is a more accurate reflection of how this content is actually produced.
